Truth and Reconciliation Day is on September 30, 2021. Canadians wear Orange on this day to raise awareness of the very
tragic legacy of residential schools and to honour the thousands of survivors.

As we plan to make a post on our socials on this day, we ask that anyone who is willing to participate, to submit a photo of
themselves wearing Orange that we can add to our post.

*Please note that by submitting, you give permission to HEO to use your photo in a Truth and Reconciliation Day social
media post.

For anyone wishing to submit a photo, please send your photo to Kurt Hewlett at khewlett@hockeyeasternontario.ca by
the end of the day September 29, 2021.
