We are pleased to announce our weekly winner – Taylor Smith, coach of the Metcalfe Jets U7 2A team.

One nomination stated, “This is our first year with our boys in hockey. I had no idea what to expect. Both my twin boys entered the rink for the first time not knowing how to skate. They progressed amazingly each week due to the patience and kindness of all of our coaches. They are now both skating so well. Taylor treats every child on the ice like they were his own son/daughter. I see him pull them aside and individually help them with their skating/stick holding. I’ve seen him do this a few times with my boys and they always respond so well. He also makes the practice fun! I’ve always been impressed with Taylor’s coaching style, how he treats all the kids at practice and how he treats all his assistant coaches”.
