Hello Jets Families
We're into the home stretch. Below you will find the the potential teams with coaches for the upcoming season. Coaches will need to be approved by the executive before they can officially be named to a team. As well, these teams may change depending on the outcome of the balancing games tomorrow. Goalies have yet to be assigned to a team as we are evaluating for the final time at the balancing games tomorrow night.
I'm asking the players to wear their sort out jerseys for tomorrow's ice. Jersey colours will be listed below with the schedule. Once tomorrow is complete, please keep your sort out jerseys and wash them. I will be asking coaches to collect them for me over your first few ice times. Please remember that you are responsible for your jersey until they are handed back. If a jersey is lost you will have to pay $75 for a replacement.

I'd like to thank all of you for putting up with the whirlwind of ice times we've all just been through. We're almost done and everyone has been great to deal with. Below you will find the list of sort out jersey numbers of those who will be playing in the A-B bubble game tonight. I will be emailing families individually as well. As with the rest of the sort outs, please check in when you arrive at the arena. As a reminder, the game is as follows.

Hello Jets Families
Below you will find the groupings and schedule for our upcoming sort outs. With the exception of the initial goalie evaluations, all sort outs will be a scrimmage format. Players will be evaluated based on skating, passing, shooting, positional play, hustle and game sense. Each player will be assessed over the course of two separate sessions by evaluators that are not associated with U18 house league hockey. When you arrive at the rink, please find the registration table where you will need to check in and be given your sort out jersey. You will keep this same jersey until sort outs are complete. I would also ask that you check in before every ice time during the sort outs, to get your dressing room and jersey colour assignment.
Please note, if you lose your jersey you will be responsible for purchasing a replacement at a cost of $75.

I'm happy to let you know that we have our schedule for sort outs. First up, for those that haven't seen the MDHA Facebook page, the U18s have been given two hours of rust off ice.

Hi everyone and welcome to a new season of Jets Hockey. My name's Adam Baker and I am your U18 convenor. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out at u18convenor@metcalfejets.ca
For those of you new to U18, the regular season starts later than other levels, October 13th, with sort outs beginning towards the end of September. I'll be posting all information here so please keep an eye on this page for ice times and updates throughout the season.
