With the arena renovation underway, this year’s MDHA Equipment Exchange & BBQ will take place next door at the Metcalfe Curling Club. We’re looking forward to an evening that brings our hockey community together—great food and some gear swapping before the season kicks off.

Families are invited to donate or trade gently used equipment, pick up items for their growing players, and enjoy a BBQ dinner while supporting the community.

BBQ Draw – New This Year

Every BBQ combo purchased includes a ballot for our draw. The winner will receive their choice of a Jets or Canucks hoodie in their preferred size, courtesy of our merchandise partner for the season, Lacroix Sports.

Volunteer Opportunities

High school students looking to earn volunteer hours are encouraged to contact Jay, our Equipment Coordinator, at equipment@metcalfejets.ca.

Equipment Drop-Off

If you’re unable to attend but have equipment you’d like to donate, Jay is also available to arrange a drop‑off time.

We’re excited to see our families come together for another great exchange night. Please feel free to share this event with new families who may benefit.
